What I love about my students is that they are all unique in their own special way! They respond well to technology rather than just worksheets.
We are coming into 21st-century teaching and need more materials to accommodate!
They are really bright students with a love for learning. I look forward to seeing them every day! I would like to get the new tools to help them get in the learning mode and succeed with their future.
Any help is always appreciated! Thanks!
My Project
My second graders are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They love hands-on, engaging, project-based learning. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Most of my students come from low-income homes and have to deal with the stress of poverty.
My classroom of 22 students really needs your help since it is a Title I school with limited resources.
My students come from a wide range of backgrounds and family situations. They come to our school seeking a safe learning environment and are met with a challenging advanced curriculum.
My Project
One major part of a classroom is the library. As a teacher of different leveled readers I need lots of different leveled books to make sure my students are engaged while reading. Your donation will help second graders read brand new books at their level everyday in class. I am asking for scholastic boxes of books for my classroom library so my students will have engaging materials to read for their independent reading. In addition to wonderful scholastic books I have also added some non-fiction titles, and other popular titles that they are sure to love.
These fiction and non-fiction books will help my students continue to practice skills taught in the classroom as well as build their love for reading!
I have carefully selected these books so that they will deliver great content, and spark imaginations. Books are a treasure that inform, delight, and inspire my students.
