Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Organizational skills are very important in 4th grade; notebooks, composition books, and pencil boxes help students stay organized throughout the year. We use notebooks during our reading and math rotations. It helps me see how the students are working independently.
Composition books are needed for our Interactive Math Activities.
Students use these books as a reference for group or independent assignments and assessments. They use their Interactive Notebooks daily; the pages in composition books do not tear out and students can add to them all year. At the end of the year, they get to take home a notebook full of math skills!
Pencil boxes help in maintaining an organized and clean workspace. They keep their pencils, crayons, scissors, and glue sticks in one place for easy access and mobility. When working in small groups or with a partner, they can move around the classroom with their supplies and stay organized!
