it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I started this fundraiser to get everyday art supplies for my classroom. I am an art teacher at a school that is very underfunded and struggling to get new supplies for their teachers. I teach PK-4, so my supplies tend to run out quickly. I have been using my money from my paychecks to buy art materials that the students use almost daily in class, such as paint, crayons, glue, markers, and paper. I am on my last set of markers and they are beginning to run out of ink. My crayons are starting to break and become unusable. We use paper every day in class, so I'm constantly going out to buy more. I want to help my students express their creativity and imagination in their projects. With the materials I'm asking for, they will be able to do that. These students are so creative and love coming to art. I hope to be able to build on their experience.
