My Project
Middle school students are in a transition between elementary play education and advanced academics. It can be hard to always focus on book learning when you are still very much a kid.
Sometimes it helps to have toys to reinforce the history that students learn.
Students are drawn to toys that they can touch and manipulate. With these building blocks, my students can build the pyramids of Egypt, the structures of ancient Greece and Rome, and the castles of the Middle Ages. These toys will be used in recreations, reenactments, and instructional videos to demonstrate things we have learned
