My Project
I've been teaching elementary music for almost a year without a piano in my classroom. While I have been able to make the most of the situation and find workarounds, it would be so beneficial to myself and my students to have a piano that we can use daily.
Having a piano in the classroom will enable us to do things like vocal warmups, sing or play other instruments with piano accompaniment, or compose simple melodies and harmonies.
A piano is a foundational instrument to any music classroom, and one that will unlock countless creative opportunities for students to engage with.
