My Project

My classroom is quite different from the norm. I will have students that struggled in their regular educational class/school setting. They have been sent to my school/class in order for them to address social emmotional needs along with getting educational services.

My students will need various tangible activities that can activitate their mind and learning.

Lego building does just that. I was able to find "theme" type legos that will support my subject matter (space, literature, reading, etc). As the students are building, they will be able to converse, interact, follow directions, and feel a sense of accomplishement in a calming atmosphere.
