This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting these supplies to create a dedicated space for my students at a TItle 1 school to decompress and build essential mental health skills. Many of my students face daily challenges both inside and outside of school, which can make it difficult for them to focus and thrive in the classroom. By providing a calm, supportive environment, I hope to give them a safe space to process their feelings and learn techniques for managing stress. These tools are designed to help students recognize and mange their emotions, improving both their mental health and academic performance. It will empower them with lifelong coping strategies.
