This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Building materials give our student's a way to build character and create their own imaginative building items from a blank slate. With the magnetic tiles, blocks of different shapes and sizes, they have an opportunity to use these items for stem activities in our classroom throughout the day. Filling our centers with items of this nature gives them imagination and builds upon their own creativity. It gives opportunities for math, science, and language to be used while learning throughout their school day in our classroom and their environment. These are items that are necessary to begin their creativity.
