This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items I’m requesting—graphing notebooks, glue sticks, pencils, and calculators—will provide my students with the essential tools they need to engage in hands-on, interactive learning. Graphing notebooks will help them organize their work, visualize mathematical concepts, and track their progress. Glue sticks will allow them to create interactive math journals, reinforcing their understanding through foldables and graphic organizers. Pencils are a daily necessity, ensuring that every student can actively participate in problem-solving without barriers. Calculators will support deeper learning by allowing students to focus on understanding concepts rather than getting stuck on simple calculations.
My goal is to create a structured, engaging, and resource-rich math classroom where students feel confident tackling complex concepts.
By providing these supplies, I hope to increase student engagement with interactive activities and visual learning tools, improve math competency by ensuring all students have the materials needed to complete assignments and practice effectively, and build confidence in students by removing barriers to success, allowing them to focus on critical thinking and problem-solving.
