My Project

Hi, I teach middle school math. In middle school students learn the main mathematical foundations to be successful in life. I try my best to make math fun and help students understand how they will use math in real life.

I would love to have a set of common calculators for all my students to use in the classroom.

We will use these calculators when calculating interest, percents, trig functions etc. I would also like these calculators available for my lower learners so they can continue to learn even if they do not have the basic math skills needed to differentiate learning in my classroom.

A document camera is a great teacher tool. It allows me to project worksheets and/or notes on the board so students can follow along easily. I use interactive notebooks which helps students learn how to write notes and see how I write and organize notes in my own notebook.

I would love to have a colored printer in my classroom. As a teacher of 130 students I am limited to 500 copies a month. It would be nice to have a printer in my classroom to print out extra worksheets when a student loses their homework without worrying about whether or not I have reached my copy limit.

I would like more dry erase markers in my classroom. I already have dry erase boards and use them to do activities and quick checks with students. It is an engaging way to make sure all students are participating, but markers for 130 students can get expensive.

I also included pencils and pens because it is math class and these are supplies that I provide for students all the time and would appreciate the help.
