Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is a group of 15 pre-school children. The children will be benefit with this materials in the math area where we are trying to get them ready for kindergarten. They will identify and count numbers. They will solve math problems and identify shapes with the different materials in different areas such as the math table and the light table.
In the light table, they will also sort, make patterns, and build different objects.
They will be able to use the sensory material to explore, using their fine motor skills to mold, sculpt and be creative.
