Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is in need of some new building materials. Many of our old materials are broken, worn out or missing pieces from years of use. We could use some replacements of these materials and upgrades to ones that will hopefully last longer than traditional cardboard building blocks. Imaginative play is important for children because it helps them develop critical skills and social competence. Imaginative play helps children develop the ability to solve problems. It also helps children develop complex thought processes. Children begin to understand and manage their emotions, build self-esteem and develop empathy for others.
