This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
First-grade students need a lot of assistance to stay organized, especially as they start off the school year. I want to make sure that we begin with a successful routine on August 17, the first day of school!
When students know that everything has a place, they begin and end each day with ease.
The labels will help my students to identify their folders, notebooks, headphones, and other personal materials easily and keep everything in its specific place.
I will also use the label maker to label items and spaces in the classroom which will help my students, especially my ESOL students to build their literacy skills as they read around the classroom.
