My Project
These tools will be used to help struggling readers practice foundational skills to help them gain confidence and become better readers and learners. These items allow us to differentiate learning in small group settings to meet specific student needs with the specific skills they need additional practice with. The students love using the power pens and taking ownership of their learning and getting immediate feedback. It helps make learning fun and engaging in a way that helps struggling readers realize reading doesn’t have to be seen as a chore, boring, or embarrassing by building the basis to help them be able to read more fluently and comprehend better thus gaining their confidence.
