My Project
These resources will provide my students with real-world learning experiences to strengthen their independence. Life Skills Learning Boards will offer interactive, visual support to reinforce essential daily living skills. The Drive-Thru Menu Math book will help students practice real-world math, such as counting money and making choices when ordering food. The Microwave Cookbook Workbook will teach them simple, safe cooking techniques they can use at home. The Community-Based Instruction Workbook will guide students in learning how to safely and successfully access community resources.
They thrive on hands-on, engaging activities that help them build confidence in everyday tasks like shopping, cooking, ordering food, and navigating the community.
These materials will make learning practical and meaningful, allowing students to practice skills that will serve them throughout their lives. Your support will empower my students to gain confidence in everyday tasks, preparing them for greater independence at school, at home, and in the community.
