My Project
My name is Emmanuel Agyeman, and I’m the Soccer Coach and Physical Education Teacher at HSA High School. Coaching this varsity team isn’t just a job for me, it’s home. I once wore this jersey myself. Now, I have the honor of leading the next generation in the very same field where I first found my purpose. This program changed my life, and now I’m doing everything I can to pass that on.
Our student-athletes show up every day with grit, heart, and dreams bigger than their circumstances.
Over 90% of our players come from low-income families. Many can’t afford basic gear, cleats, gloves, and shin guards, but they never complain. They show up early, they work hard, and they give everything they’ve got.
In 2023, we finished the season 10-4-1 and won our league. In 2024, we pushed even further, finishing 14-5 and winning the league again. We’ve built something truly special with minimal resources: a team that believes in itself, that plays with heart, and that never backs down. Now, we’re setting our sights higher, we’re chasing a shot at the State Championship. But we need your help to get there. The right equipment could be the difference between just showing up and truly competing.
This isn’t just about gear, it’s about showing these kids they matter. That someone believes in them. That their goals are worth chasing. Your donation won’t just impact the soccer field; this equipment, including soccer balls, foam rollers, and goalie gloves, will also be used in our physical education classes, reaching even more students.
