My Project
During the pandemic, many of our families kept their students home instead of starting preschool in light of the risk of COVID-19. Those that did attend preschool had intermittent instances of online learning with little opportunity to interact with peers. I am hoping to use these new materials to support growth in language and articulation skills with my students receiving speech therapy at Head Start. Books encourage vocabulary, story retell, and language skills. Games provide motivation and encouragement during articulation trials. Magnetic and flannel boards provide a way to engage the entire group or class with interactive stories. I have included picture cards to support students with social interactions and learning verb forms. There are dedicated speech activities and games as well. Thank you so much for your support!
