Building Italy's Culture With Our Hands

Help me give my students culturally relevant 3D puzzles that they can build together during our Speaking Tutorial as a conversation piece.

My Project

Every Thursday my students and I meet to practice speaking Italian in an informal setting and I want to add meaning to it by creating a little workshop where we will build monuments to learn about the science, technique, and human ingenuity behind art in Italy.

My wish is for my students to understand that the admired beauty behind Italy's architecture requires centuries of study and research and that this beauty is a deep part of the Italian language and culture.

A STEAM project like this will hopefully help me convey the message that Italy is much more than just spaghetti with meatballs (nothing wrong with those though!).
