Help me give my students a learning toy to develop thier fine motor skills. By having a large staking learning toy in the classroom it would motivate them to manipulate the toy independently.

My Project
These sensory items will make a difference in my students learning because they are working on thier fine and large motor skills and by having these learning toys in the classroom it would give them thier independence on working on thier goals.
I work with 3-4 years old developmentally delayed children with Autism.
The goal is to use these toys to help them build indepence as they learn through play. Many of my students love to work independent and having toys that will help them with that will not only push start their independence but will help with their fine and large motor skills that they need.
Having different types of manipulatives in the classroom helps thier mental physical and emotinal developement and helps support thier autonomy making thier education fun and meaninful. If a child is learning while having fun it helps them succeed in thier future education. A simple toy as a stacking toy not only helps them physically, emotionally and mentally it promotes self worth and self efficacy.
My classroom is a theraputic classroom where my students that have a variety of mental and physical disabilities. I try to incorporate learning toys and manipulatives that will help them develop those areas they are delayed. Having a variety of fine motor and large motor toys will help them devleop learning skills such as writing, cutting and coloring. It helps develop fine motor skills as simple as holding a pencil or kicking a ball. It would be wonderful to incorporate these fine motor learning toys in my classroom. The children would love it and it would benefit them in the long run. My students and I will surely be appreciative with all your caring donations. It only takes one learning toy to make a drastic change in a child.
