Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in my class are eager and independent learners. They love to learn in the face of challenges.
These supportive learning resources will support the English Learners to become successful in all content areas.
These supplies allow my students to take charge of their own learning throughout the day. These learning supplies will be used to support learning during class projects, independent work, and group work so everyone can participate in the English classroom.
The bilingual dictionaries and Pen reader will allow them to become independent learners and challenge themselves in difficult topics in all content areas. The Pen reader will lift their fear and comfort levels in the face of challenges.
All of our students want to learn to learn to speak, read, and write well in English. This helps them with the basic life skills and maintain their daily routines in the classroom. These items also help to build the self-esteem that they need.
As they progress, they will be able to participate in group using English and independent work to build mastering of the English Language and to be able to practice socialization, participate in discussion using proper English, as well as Socratic Seminar. This will enhance the learning environment not only in the classroom but on the world stage as well.
