Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 3rd-grade students are curious, creative, and full of energy. They come to school each day eager to explore, build, and discover new things. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and they thrive when learning is hands-on and engaging.
LEGO bricks will be an incredible resource for my classroom because they provide endless opportunities for learning through play.
With LEGO sets, my students can build models that reinforce math concepts like area, perimeter, multiplication, and fractions. They can also use them in science and engineering projects to explore structures, simple machines, and problem-solving.
Beyond academics, LEGO sets will help develop their collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills. Working in small groups to create something together encourages teamwork and perseverance. For many of my students, learning through building helps them express their ideas in ways that writing or talking sometimes can’t.
This donation would make a lasting impact by making learning exciting, interactive, and meaningful for all of my students.
