My Project
I have two parts to this project:
First, I want to build my calmdown corner/Zen Zone so that the children can have items to help regulate the big emotions that my Headstart kiddos have.
It is so important for them to learn how to calm themselves and how to handle all of the emotions that they have in a healthy way. So many of them are not taught this through their home lives and we need to teach them for the short time we have them,
Second, the blocks are extremely important for the development of working together, developing critical thinking skills, and so many other things that block can teach with out the kiddos realizing that they are learning.
