This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’m starting a new health class that will empower students to make informed, positive choices for their well-being. In our community, many students face challenges related to nutrition, physical activity, mental health, and understanding how their bodies work. This class will provide them with the tools to develop healthy habits that can last a lifetime.

With your support, I will create a hands-on, engaging learning environment where students explore topics like nutrition, fitness, stress management, emotional health, and disease prevention.

Funds will be used to purchase interactive resources such as models, activity kits, visual aids, and simulation devices—materials that make learning about health more memorable and meaningful.

By combining real-life skills with active learning, this health class will help students build confidence, make better decisions, and take ownership of their well-being. Your donation will not only support lessons in the classroom, but it will also ripple outward into students’ homes and communities as they share what they’ve learned. Together, we can help the next generation grow into strong, healthy, and informed individuals.
