My Project

My Students

My students are energetic, curious, and eager to learn!

They are in transitional kindergarten (TK) and range in age from 4 to 5 years old. For many of them, this is their first experience in a classroom setting. Each day, we work on building foundational skills in literacy, math, fine motor development, and social interaction.

My classroom is a safe space where my students learn through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. I strive to create a learning environment that supports their growth and helps them build the skills they need to succeed both academically and socially.

My Project

This project will help provide my students with engaging and developmentally appropriate center activities. The materials I’m requesting will support a variety of learning goals—fine motor tools like a drill set and peg board for hand strength and control, manipulatives like math activity center and language kit for early math and literacy skills, and activities that promote positive peer interaction and problem-solving.

Having well-stocked learning centers allows my students to explore and practice new skills independently and with their peers. These resources will keep them motivated and excited to learn every day.

Why This Project is Important

Center time is one of the most important parts of our day—it’s where learning comes to life. With the right materials, my students will have the opportunity to build essential skills while having fun and working together. These resources will help them develop independence, confidence, and a love for learning.
