Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This school year many of my students are newcomers or first year English language learners. They are in need of the foundational skills required to read. By providing them with these skills, I hope to inspire them to want to read and continue learning.
As an educator, I believe students learn through different modalities.
These sight word learning games will give my students the opportunity to play with their peers and learn the necessary skills to help them excel in other subjects.
My students are special because they are eager to learn, are always curious and ask questions that further their learning. These learning tools can continue to expand their brains, vocabulary and love for learning.
