My Project
I have the joy of teaching 20 amazing preschoolers in an inclusive classroom that brings together both general education and special education students. Each child brings their own spark, strengths, and unique way of seeing the world. I love watching them learn through play, support one another, and grow into confident, curious little learners. Their excitement for school, kindness toward their classmates, and creative imaginations inspire me every day.
The dramatic play area is a vital part of our classroom; it is where learning and imagination come to life.
With these new materials, students will build essential future-ready skills like communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and empathy. Whether they are pretending to be chefs, doctors, parents, or community helpers, they are practicing language, social interaction, and problem-solving in meaningful ways.
For my students with special needs, these materials offer opportunities for hands-on, sensory-rich learning and help develop social and expressive language skills in a fun, low-pressure environment. For my general education students, it stretches their creativity and strengthens real-world connections. For everyone, it is a space where all children can explore roles, share ideas, and work together, building the foundation for success in school and life.
