Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are engaged and participate effectively when using dry race, sports and markers. They are able to show their work in math and record writing tasks while reading having enough materials cuts down on interruptions and teacher spending.
The decodable books I’ve chosen are suitable for my emerging readers using the most recent research from the Science of Reading.
They will be used in small flexible literacy groups that incorporate the week’s spelling patterns focus.
And finally the read alouds on pertinent social emotional topics will help generate positive discussion and inspire creative role playing.
