My Project

Magnetic tiles, mosaic tiles, play dough, building blocks, pattern blocks, and other STEM activities are particularly beneficial for kindergartners as a replacement of traditional morning work because they engage children in hands-on learning, which is especially effective in young learners. How you start your day sets the tone for the rest of it. Beginning the day with positivity, engagement, and happiness usually leads to a similarly positive and productive day.

STEM activities in the morning foster problem-solving skills by encouraging kiddos to ask questions, explore solutions, and think critically.

It gives kiddos a chance to engage with their peers in a fun way while developing fine-motor skills, communication skills, and team building.

Having STEM bins and a place to store them where it easily accessible gives the kiddos independence in the morning to choose their own STEM activity. Kindergartners are naturally curious about the world around them. STEM activities help them explore, experiment, and discover through play.
