Hello! My name is Jasmine Wantwadi, and I’m excited to be teaching 6th grade at a STEM Magnet school in Southeast Raleigh, where our curriculum is hands-on and project-based. Our students learn best by doing — exploring science, technology, engineering, and math through real-world projects that spark creativity and critical thinking.
Because of the unique demands of a project-based STEM curriculum, our classroom needs more than just traditional supplies.
We rely on materials like art supplies, building manipulatives, and other hands-on resources that allow students to build, experiment, and innovate.
Many of our students come from families facing economic challenges, and our school’s budget doesn’t always cover these essential supplies. That’s why I’m reaching out for your support.
