Building Future Engineers Through Reading and STEM

Help me give my students tools to become better readers, thinkers, and engineers with reading and STEAM activities.

My Students

I have 26 amazing 2nd graders. They are curious learners and love hands-on technology.

These young students are future engineers who love to build and create with their minds and hands.

I want to remind them that their success is unlimited. We are a "Leader in Me" school. My students are learning how to develop qualities that will teach them how to deal with conflict and resolution, how to think win-win and how they can change the world, simply by who they are.

My Project

My students will be able to feel confident as learners as they use these hands-on learning materials. These supplies, like the intervention reading folders, and the Touch and Read phonics activities will increase their reading and comprehension skills.

The Design & Play STEAM Cars kit will help them use various math skills to figure out solutions to STEM activities and enhance their critical thinking skills.

My students love being able to create and manipulate things with their hands. These hands-on activities will increase their confidence, love for learning and encourage self exploration.

I feel it is important for every child to feel successful at school. These materials will help them feel that way! I am excited to see their creativity come alive with these materials.
