Help me give my students the Frey Scientific Balsa Tower Classroom Packs and Frey Scientific Balsawood or Basswood Bridge Building Kits so they can apply the principles they are learning to hands-on building opportunities!
Title I school students will create and collaborate in groups to build and experiment with towers and bridges. This is a unique unit that can be difficult to find supplies and enough supplies to acquire, but is really awesome because of the amount of learning that comes with it!
Students will have a blast creating historic discoveries while learning core physics concepts such as gravity, potential energy, kinetic energy, weight bearing, stability strategies, etc.
Students will be able to take towers and bridges home to adapt and experiment with. This is the best kind of hands-on learning project to donate to!
