Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the summer while sifting through Pinterest I saw a post on Morning Tubs. I was intrigued so I read about them and the positive impact about it. Morning Tubs are a great way to offer a play-based opportunity for students to explore, create, and communicate. Morning Tubs help reduce the length of your morning routine, get students excited about the day, and also encourage collaboration. During this time students are encouraged to build using blocks, links, or building puzzles. This encourages students to think outside the box as well as work together. I've seen a lot of benefits come from it like students using their knowledge learned like counting, sorting, and more. I would love to replace some of them with something different since know they've been doing the same ones over the year.
