My Students
'Tis time for a new school year! I can't wait to meet all of my new pre-kindergarteners soon! My class will be comprised of students from different cultures and backgrounds, which makes it even more fun. Their various previous experiences, thoughts and ideas create culturally responsive classroom. Plus, they make learning even more fun for our young learners.
My Project
No two students are the same in my classroom! We look different, think different, and feel different. It is TOTALLY okay to be unique and that is what make us special. We will use People Colors Crayons and papers for our expressive artworks to represent diversity. Social emotional activity sets will help my students identify their own feelings and make appropriate choices.
One way to build positive relationships at this age is to engage in active play together.
Due to the pandemic, our students had limited opportunities to engage in physical activities with other children. With the music and movement supplies, we will get our daily exercises in while learning to play together by sharing, taking turns and following directions.
