Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in the culinary program are taught to be creative in their menu planning and to understand the importance of presentation and cost. These items will build on those skills as students will be able to demonstrate their understanding of such practices. We will be able to implement those items in a manner that will assist us when building our community dinners.
The students will use the liquid chalk easel and liquid chalk to elevate their food interest.
In addition, these items will be our segue into understanding marketing, product placement, advertising, and basic economics as it pertains to food sale. These items will enable students to understand how to create menu boards that are inviting, attractive, and intriguing to a potential client.
