My Project
As a first-year resource teacher working with K-5 students, I’ve seen how crucial social-emotional skills are for success in school and beyond. Many of my students struggle with identifying and expressing their emotions, navigating social situations, and staying regulated throughout the day. These challenges often impact their ability to focus, learn, and connect with others. My goal is to provide my students with a comprehensive social-emotional curriculum that equips them with the tools to manage their emotions, communicate effectively, and build positive relationships.
A high-quality curriculum will offer structured, engaging lessons tailored to their developmental needs.
It will teach them how to identify their feelings, set goals, resolve conflicts, and develop resilience. These skills not only support their academic success but also prepare them for future challenges.
