Building Early Career Awarenesses and More Exposure to Diversity!
Help me give my students job awarenesses through the enjoyable game and skill of building puzzles. I also plan to expose my Kinder to more diversity through People-Colors (crayons) and instruments from around the world.

My Students
My kinders are an energetic group of little people who delight in learning. They are and will become readers, writers, mathematicians, explorers, problem-solvers and ultimately, leaders. I have the opportunity to teach a group of zealous and diverse learners! They are learning how to build their character by sharing, helping, caring and valuing one another. We all have the common goal of making learning our priority. In our classroom, we are also learning to recognize our differences and appreciate them. Our school is a larger community of students with a growth mindset where we learn from our mistakes and persevere through difficult moments to achieve academic success.
My Project
This will be the perfect school year to add more "People Colors" (crayons) to my school supplies to aid in the diversity and representation of all skin tones. Students will have the opportunity to draw family, friends, famous people and create self-portraits.
In addition, I would love to provide more skill building games such as puzzles centered around the topic of job and career awarenesses.
Students will have the opportunity to complete puzzles free from racial and gender-free stereotypes.
My diversity project would not be complete without musical instruments from around the world. Not only will students learn how to "Keep the rhythm," but also learn about other cultures through music!
