I have 28 students who all have unique qualities that make them stand out. With such a diverse roster this year, I love how the classroom brought us all together and the bond we have developed with one another throughout the year. They have grown so much together and as a first year teacher, they have challenged me in so many ways that has molded me to be a better teacher and I love them for that!
We are asking for headphones to help my students better focus on their I-Ready lessons and build their foundational reading skills.
It is difficult for my students to focus on their individualized lessons especially when the student next to them is also playing their individualized lesson. With these materials, we will be more effective in closing the reading gap in 2nd grade! Also, I would love to include Flashlight Friday AIR (Accountable Independent Reading) into our classroom to make reading more fun!
