My Project
Highlighting a vital opportunity for my students on the South Side of Chicago, as a cluster teacher working with some students who have autism and intellectual disabilities, I have witnessed firsthand the unique strengths that each of my students possesses. Many of their abilities have yet to be tapped into due to limited resources and opportunities. Every child deserves the chance to shine, and with your support, my students can unlock their full potential through the power of LEGO education.
With your support, we can open doors to a world of possibility for my students, allowing them to explore their passions and thrive in an inclusive environment that nurtures their unique gifts.
We are seeking your support to obtain the LEGO Education SPIKE Prime Class Pack. This engaging kit is not just a tool for learning robotics and programming; it is a catalyst for inclusion. Many of my students may not have otherwise had the chance to be invited to participate in STEM activities or even recognize their own interest in this area. With the SPIKE Prime Class Pack, we can create an environment where every student feels valued and capable of contributing.
By engaging in hands-on activities such as building, programming, and collaborating, my students will gain confidence and experience success in ways they may not have imagined. The interactive nature of LEGO encourages teamwork and communication, allowing all students, regardless of their abilities, to participate meaningfully. This invaluable experience will also prepare them for competitive opportunities within the district, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to succeed in future endeavors.
