Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The resources requested will help students understand diversity while learning to play with one another. The wooden train set and vehicles will help students learn to build roads and connect their learning of building. They will practice perseverance as they learn to elaborate on the train path adding longer paths.

Learning about racial justice and representation must begin at a young age and working together with peers is the best hands-on experience my students can have.

The magnetic community helpers will allow the students to build and create their own people. They will be able to use their imaginations and knowledge of community workers to build and play with one another. It is important for students to see themselves and others in the toys and materials they come across every day.
