We create a Lego Club in our school. All students enjoy building things with blocks and legos. The first and second grade students need to learn how to be creative and solve complex tasks. The students wanted to be part of our Lego Club to learn how to invent different projects using Lego blocks.
Legos can give students an opportunity to use their imagination and try out new ideas.
Students can work collaboratively to follow instructions and help each other develop a plan to problem solve. The students will engage in creating different STEM projects and challenges throughout the year to help them with their fine motor skills. They can learn how to build a bridge, create their name using Lego blocks, make a car that can move, build a lego catapult, or make a balance scale. These are just a few ideas to help motivate their creativity.
