This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our young learners are just beginning their reading journey, and we want to give them every opportunity to succeed and grow with joy! We're requesting a collection of engaging Level 1 and beginner books—including favorites like Pete the Cat, Amelia Bedelia, The Bad Seed, and Mac and Cheese—to support early literacy in our classroom.
These books are perfect for developing readers.
With simple vocabulary, fun characters, and relatable themes, they help students build confidence, fluency, and a love for reading. Titles like The Night Before First Grade, Ice Cream Soup, and Splat the Cat bring excitement and laughter into our daily reading time.
