it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Personal hygiene plays a vital role in a student’s confidence, focus, and overall well-being. Many of our students lack access to basic hygiene products at home, which can affect their self-esteem and ability to engage in learning. This project will provide essential hygiene items—deodorant, feminine hygiene products, and hygiene wipes—so students can feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn without the fear of embarrassment.
By equipping students with these necessary items, we are not just addressing immediate needs but also teaching them the importance of personal hygiene as a life skill.
This project empowers students to take care of themselves, fostering independence and self-respect. With access to these supplies, our students will be able to navigate their school day without feeling self-conscious or isolated. They will have the tools to maintain proper hygiene, which in turn promotes better social interactions, academic engagement, and overall school experience.
