This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items we’re requesting—blank t-shirts, Cricut vinyl, and accessories—will allow students to engage in hands-on, creative learning experiences.
By using the Cricut machine to design and craft their own club t-shirts, students will learn valuable skills such as graphic design, precision, and teamwork.
This project also fosters creativity and ownership, as students take part in creating something meaningful and representative of their unique club identities. Additionally, these t-shirts will promote a sense of belonging and pride, boosting their confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
The primary goals of this project are to equip each club member with a custom-designed t-shirt that represents their club, fostering a sense of community and pride. We hope to teach students hands-on crafting and design skills using the Cricut machine and vinyl materials. We want to encourage collaboration, creativity, and ownership by involving students in the t-shirt design and production process. Lastly, we want to promote the visibility of our after-school clubs and inspire more students to join and participate.
My students are incredibly hardworking, creative, and passionate. They come from diverse backgrounds, many overcoming challenges to pursue their interests and passions. Despite limited resources, they approach every opportunity with enthusiasm and a desire to learn. What makes them truly special is their resilience, their support for one another, and their commitment to creating a positive and inclusive community within our school. This project is a way to celebrate their individuality, recognize their efforts, and encourage them to continue striving for success.
