My Project

I'm starting at a new school this year and am looking forward to establishing a thriving classroom community. My project helps provide a storage space and games for the class. The storage cabinet also serves as a mini "care cabinet" with snacks and other personal items often needed by 4th graders.

Community is forged through shared experiences.

Playing games together builds communication & self regulation skills which are necessary for our community to thirve. Games can reinforce skills learned across all academic areas and support development of strategy and flexible thinking skills. Plus, they are just fun! By starting with these simple shared experiences we will be able to support and sustain the growth of a strong classroom community as the year continues.
