Building Community, One Board at a Time

Help me give my students bulletin boards that build community, celebrate their voices, and create a welcoming classroom environment all year long.

My Project

A classroom should feel like a second home—welcoming, inspiring, and a reflection of the students who fill it. This project will help transform our learning space into a vibrant, community-centered environment through bulletin boards that celebrate student voices, highlight academic and personal growth, and foster a sense of belonging all year long. Using colorful backgrounds, themed borders, letter cutouts, and creative accents, I’ll be able to design rotating displays that keep our space fresh all year long.

From showcasing science work to starting each day with an interactive calendar and a cheerful border of smiling faces, these materials will allow me to create bulletin boards that are both functional and meaningful.

Whether it's a board featuring student goals, positive affirmations, or classroom highlights, each display will reinforce that our classroom is a safe and supportive space for all learners.
