My Project
My students are taking Spanish 1 or 2. This is exciting as there are many Spanish-speaking families in our community! I am asking for items to build a healthy classroom culture of emergent bilingual readers! High school students greatly benefit from high-interest low-level books in the target language. I want to give students a variety of books to choose from, so it’s important to have options displayed as well. Students are still recovering from the pandemic.
Because of this, access to different leveled books in a variety of topics will help foster conversations and connection between students.
I am asking for a laminator for students to self-create bookmarks as well as other reading logs for the project. Lastly, our physical health is also important as RSV, Covid and the flu are starting up again. This is why I am requesting an air purifier. Thank you for your consideration!
