This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Working with others is a skill that is necessary and important in developing life long learners. By incorporating various ways to practice collaborative learning using a meaningful subject matter, students will not only strengthen their interpersonal communication skills, but will begin to empathizes and understand the perspectives of students who are different than them.

For students to full understand one another, they need to work together topics that promote meaningful conversation.

My students are motivated to learn about topics that are unfamiliar to them and have the tough conversations that may come with it. Having the materials necessary to facilitate this type of learning in an organized and structured way will allow more time for students to work together and grow as life long learners.
