Our class is composed of two 3-5 year old classes, 10 students in the morning and 10 in the afternoon. These students require a smaller class size so that their individual learning styles and needs can be met. They love to learn, sing, dance, and create!

The belief at our school is that social and emotional development serves as the foundation of all other learning. We provide a play-based, Reggio Emilia inspired child-centered learning environment. Our curriculum maximizes the learning potential of all children, especially Diverse and English Language Learners. We create learning environments that are intentionally designed to deepen children's thinking through the development of relationships with one another, provoking materials and the natural world outside.
My Project
These supplies will help me and our Room Team meet the individual needs of our students by providing multiple modalities of learning during Circle Time and small group activities. These materials (cube chairs, carpet) will also support our students attend to whole group activities by providing the visual and physical supports they thrive with.
Our class is working hard on developing their expressive language.
Most of my students use PECS boards to communicate. The Velcro will be used to create PECS binders and visual schedules for families to use at home to support their children’s learning and needs.
