Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class of 28 learners need support with building social skills in person and with technology. My students love interacting with each other and would love to be able to have a class rug to sit on for a morning meet up during our class meetings and SEL lessons. My learners would benefit from having a set of whiteboards to respond to questions and share answers.

The majority of my students are currently behind in reading and could use headphones to help them listen to books read online during class reading centers.

We currently do not have a class set of headphones, so it makes unnecessary noise in the classroom or they have to listen with the volume very low.

My students have expressed interest in learning about animals and I would love them to be able to see the life cycle process as we dive into this third grade standard! I feel it would enrich our class meeting conversations and learning by watching the tadpoles turn into frogs as we study life cycles.
