Building Calm, Confidence, and Curiosity in Every Corner

Help me give my students a calming lounge chair, mobile desk, sturdy bookshelf, and inspiring books to create a supportive, flexible classroom where every learner feels seen, safe, and motivated.

My Project

Dear Donors,

As a first-year special education teacher, I’m deeply committed to creating a classroom where every student, regardless of ability or learning style, feels safe, supported, and empowered to grow.

What I love most about my students is their resilience, their unique perspectives, and the joy they bring to learning when they feel truly understood.

To support them, I’m seeking a few essential items:

A bookshelf to keep sensory tools and learning materials organized and accessible, helping students build independence and routine, a Papasan chair to provide a calming space for emotional regulation and focus, a mobile standing desk to offer movement-friendly learning and meet physical and attention needs, and two books—The Hero Code and Think Like a Warrior—to inspire both my students and me to grow through challenges with courage and heart.

Each of these resources is a step toward building a classroom rooted in flexibility, dignity, and compassion—so every student feels seen, valued, and ready to thrive.
